Imprisoned, Jailbreak, Imprisoned, Jailbreak "Time Tunnel"

Serving as a sequel to "Imprisoned, Jailbreak," which took place in 2013, this upcoming installment will expand upon its previous volume by occupying multiple venues where five artists have each been assigned to curate a show. A major theme of this exhibition explores the notion of "the frame." Whether it be linguistic, socio-political, perspectival, material, or the boundary around anything, "the frame" tends to form itself and is inseparable from human existence. Artists are capable of reconstructing this pre-existing "frame." It is we, the artists, who can eliminate, manipulate, transcend, and even transform its meaning.
