Euan Macdonald：The Sound of Ice Melting, Dripping ?

Euan Macdonald was born in 1965 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He has lived in Vancouver, Canada and is now based in Los Angeles. “The Sound of Ice Melting, Dripping?” is the title of a two-channel video installation that depicts 35 LP records rotating on turntables. These records, sourced from the BBC archives, contain fake sound effects that were used for various radio programs. Also on display are a bronze sculpture of a palm tree shadow, several glacier drawings and a very long 6 minute video of a snail crawling across some sand.
